Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHEODORA DOROTHY POIRIER Peacefully in her sleep at home on February 20, 2001, God called Dorothy home. She was predeceased by her parents and one sister and leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 25 years, Georges; a sister Sandra Schultz (Leonard) of Dominion City; daughter Gay Dolyniuk and granddaughter Robin of Winnipeg; brother-in-law Louis-Paul Poirier (Patricia) of Selkirk and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her especially her friends and neighbours in the trailer court where she resided for over 25 years; also travelling companions, Jack and Eileen Runge of Regina and Gary and Glenda Kuffner of Glentworth, Sask., with whom they enjoyed many holidays in Mexico. Dorothy retired in 1988 from Great West Life where she had spent many happy years. In her retirement years Dorothy found great joy in cooking and baking new recipes with Georges, caring for her many flowers, plants and shrubs, and holidaying in Mexico. At Dorothys request cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
